North Coast (Ohio) Chapter

GOALS 2009 - 2010

Goal:  Through teamwork, excellence in leadership, research, and service can be achieved.

By June 30, 2010, North Coast chapter will achieve the following:

MEMBERSHIP:

Retain 95% of current members in good standing.

Increase membership by 5 candidates at 2 initiations.

Develop a team of three (3) people to assist with initiations and membership.

LEADERSHIP

Provide professional development opportunities for all members.

Enhance the relationship with Baldwin-Wallace College by promoting Chapter programs and providing two 92) contact members.

Develop a Chapter webpage as a link to the Baldwin-Wallace Department of Education website.

Develop team-building opportunities with other chapters by coordinating joint program/meetings in our areas.

Continue the “Best Practice Award” recognizing outstanding contributions of educators, students, and parents in a school district.

RESEARCH

Promote current and innovative practices within the chapter’s community and through the work of graduate student and college professors.

SERVICE

Coordinate service projects with area students that directly benefit individuals in the Greater Cleveland (Ohio) community.

SCHOLARSHIP

Through fund raising activities, continue donations to the scholarship fund given to honor outstanding students in high school and college level who intend to major in education.

FOUNDATION

Maintain the 100% Foundation status of the Chapter
